First Radio Controlled Helicopter

Last week I picked out my first radio controlled helicopter from the Radio Control Center The Model King™Remote Control Helicopter Of New Concept Easy To Fly.
This helicopter has an improved gyroscope to make it easier to control.

It comes with every thing that is need to run it. battery, 3.5 channel infrared remote control  box.

Its package is in a reusable box to protect it from getting broken when traveling to a place to operate it. It should arrive in the next 10 days. I'm look forward to getting it going.  -- Rob Racer

My experience

In 1992, I began building and racing radio controlled cars. My friend Pete, an expert in this hobby, guided me through. There was a lot to learn to keep my RC model car running. I thought I would like a RC boat or  helicopter to try , but they were even more expensive and had to be built.  About twice a week we went to the indoor race track in Wakefield, MA to race and build our cars. It was fun, but took a lot of time just to keep them running.  20 years later the race track is gone. I went to work and forgot about RC cars. With work, not as much time for a hobby. Now, with new easier technology, there are some cool boats and helicopters to run. They come all built, so you can start right away. I'm hoping to share my experiences and tips in operating radio controlled boats and helicopters as well a get tips from others on using these radio controlled vehicles.
